The estate

Founded in 1977 by Vittorio Moretti on a hillside above Erbusco, in the heart of Franciacorta — though the Moretti family's ties to this land go back centuries. For decades Moretti worked alongside winemaker Mattia Vezzola, building the estate into one of Franciacorta's most recognised Metodo Classico houses.

Since Vezzola's retirement in 2021, Moretti's daughter Francesca has taken over winemaking, working with Richard Geoffroy, former chef de cave at Dom Pérignon. The estate now farms around 209 hectares across the Franciacorta hills.

The house style rests on manual harvesting, gentle whole-cluster pressing, and fermentation of base wines in small oak barrels — traditional Metodo Classico technique applied with a consistency Bellavista treats as its defining discipline.
