Collefrisio

The estate

Collefrisio was founded in 2004 by Amedeo De Luca and Antonio Patricelli in the hills of Frisa, in Abruzzo's Chieti province, on hilltop land acquired from the Frisio family — the source of the winery's name.

The estate's cellar and offices sit above organically farmed vineyards and olive groves. The winery runs on a photovoltaic system and uses vegan production methods.

The range is built on Abruzzo's native varieties — Montepulciano d'Abruzzo reds alongside white Pecorino, Falanghina and Trebbiano — aimed at straightforward regional character rather than an international style.
