The estate

Two Pasqua brothers arrived in Verona in 1925 and set up a business trading wine from their native Puglia, later converting a deconsecrated convent in Valpolicella Orientale into their winery.

The company passed to a second generation in the 1960s, who opened it up to export markets. A fourth generation — Riccardo as CEO and Alessandro leading the North American business, under president Umberto Pasqua — now runs the group.

Alongside classic Valpolicella and Amarone, Pasqua has built a reputation for experimentation, including barrel-finishing trials and unconventional blends that earned the winery Wine Enthusiast's Innovator of the Year in 2023.
