The estate

Domenic and Iolanda Pinelli left the mountains of Molise, Italy, for the Swan Valley in the 1950s, carrying one conviction: that good wine belongs at every table, not just the special occasion. In 1980 that conviction became a seven-acre block in Caversham, in Australia's oldest wine region.

Today the cellar door is run by the second generation, Robert and Daniel Pinelli, who still tend vines their parents planted. The Swan Valley's wet winters and long, sun-drenched summers give the fruit the ripeness the region has always been known for.

The range runs from crisp Verdelho through to fortified styles built on decades of barrel experience — approachable wines made for weeknight dinners as readily as celebrations.
